I’m in Melbourne from the mid of May and working in the iAIR program of RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) as a recipient of the Tokyo Wonder Site/Asialink. I’ll be there until early August while developing my work/project.
オーストラリア・メルボルンでのレジデンスに来ています。滞在先はRMITというアートコースのある工科大学。Tokyo Wonder SiteとAsialinkが連携する形でのレジデンスプログラムで、8月はじめまでの約三ヶ月間でレクチャーや個展などを予定しています。

essay: Cezanne’s In-between
“Eureka” April 2012, featuring “the Perception of Cezanne”
I wrote about Cezanne’s matter of perception and body through analizing portraits in the 1890′s.
『ユリイカ』(特集：セザンヌにはどう視えているか)に論考「セザンヌの中間地帯」を寄せました。主に1890年代の肖像画を分析しながら、セザンヌの知覚や身体について考えています。
セザンヌは昔から思い入れが深い作家だけに、どういった仕方で取りあげたものか悩みましたが、結果的になかなかMADなセザンヌ像になった気がします。ぜひ読んでみてください。
